Emma arrives in France expecting a quiet family celebration. Instead, she receives an unexpected gift: a signed copy of her ex-partner’s debut novel. As old wounds resurface and uncomfortable comparisons begin to take hold, Emma finds herself spiraling into a deeply personal confrontation with envy, regret, and the life she imagined for herself. Blending emotional honesty with fable-like storytelling, What’s Wrong Emma explores the complicated feelings that emerge when someone from your past achieves everything you once hoped for.
